Accessibility Statement

Effective: May 15, 2026

Our Commitment

IdeaDoc is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this goal. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Measures Taken

We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of ideadoc.com:

  • Semantic HTML5 elements including landmarks such as <header>, <main>, <nav>, and <footer>
  • Full keyboard navigation support across all interactive elements
  • A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements using focus-visible ring styles
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
  • ARIA attributes used correctly where native HTML semantics are insufficient
  • Color contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion media query in all animations and transitions
  • Minimum touch target size of 24x24 pixels for all interactive elements
  • Form validation errors presented as visible text descriptions linked to inputs via aria-describedby
  • Visible labels on all form inputs rather than placeholder-only labels

Conformance Status

We consider ideadoc.com to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to all success criteria. We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining gaps.

Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility

This website is designed to be compatible with the following browsers and assistive technologies:

  • Google Chrome (latest) with NVDA and JAWS
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest) with NVDA
  • Apple Safari (latest) with VoiceOver
  • Microsoft Edge (latest) with Narrator

Assessment Approach

IdeaDoc assesses the accessibility of this website through self-evaluation. We use a combination of automated testing tools, manual keyboard navigation testing, and screen reader testing to evaluate conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria.
